Came here with my sister during a trip to LA and sat at the bar. The chef is very knowledgeable about his fish and very welcoming. He makes you feel so comfortable. The Santa Monica Uni is so sweet and delicious it actually converted my sister into a uni-fan. I highly recommend coming out here for their authentic sushi.

I've been coming here for years. Go-san and his wife are such pleasant people. The omakase is the best in LA. Decor is...San Fernando Valley chic, but I personally get a great deal of enjoyment out of how the restuarant is set up. Particularly fun when inviting a friend who is unfamiliar with the quality of the food. Eat that Holy Cow!

The chef didn't respect my religion. I understand you have the right to refuse service. But its a shame that you can't be different than others , to eat here ....I am sure I will find good sushi somewhere else
